week 3/4 "being an adolescent"

I think that being an adolescent in todays society can be extremely tough. The things kids go through these days are tremendous. The world always expects so much of them that a heavy burden is put on them wether they like it or not. Kids these days are exposed to so many terrible things in the world that only makes things harder on them. Adolescents need a strong standing force in their lives and I think teachers should definitely be one of them. You can't always know what a student has been though or is going through and it is our job as teachers to be there for them no matter when or what.
