bonus: online resources

one of my new favorite sites i've found is pinterest. among many other things it houses a great education, craft, and kids section to gain ideas for the classroom and projects. give it a try! http://pinterest.com/all/?category=education

I also found a pretty cool blog! http://www.artprojectsforkids.org/

week 5/6

a big idea that interests me is revival. i love the idea of altering something that already exists and turning it into something beautiful. I've been really interested in working with book pages lately and turning them into a work of art that ties in with the words on the pages. here are a few images of pieces i've found on the internet.
